The South Branch Inn is a family-owned 100-room hotel opened in 1993 in Moorefield, WV. They provide quality comfort and hospitality in this scenic Appalachian region, and offer amenities such as conference and event space. The hotel is perfectly positioned to accommodate business, leisure, and adventure travelers.

With WVCAP funding, the South Branch Inn is installing a solar energy system to power the hotel, as well as two neighboring businesses owned by the same family. This commitment to clean energy is valuable in West Virginia, especially in rural Appalachian areas, and these types of projects are an excellent use of WVCAP funding.

WVCAP provides West Virginia small businesses with debt or equity capital to expand and create jobs. WVCAP is designed to assist credit-worthy companies that may not fit traditional lending models. WVCAP is administered by WVJIT.
